Established in 1981, McKay Roofing has been one of the premier commercial and residential roofing contracting companies in San Diego. Founded by brothers Brad and Tod McKay, they are a preferred contractor for both Certainteed and Owens Corning. They specialize in flat roofing and their employees have worked with some of the same customers for over 30 years.

McKay Roofing has roofed thousands of homes, apartments, condos, and landmark buildings throughout San Diego, and performed repairs on countless others. Their legacy throughout Southern California remains unmatched for craftsmanship, ethics, and customer satisfaction. 

Recently, McKay Roofing was acquired by Solar Integrated Roofing Corporation (SIRC), an integrated solar and roofing installation company specializing in commercial and residential properties. Their family of brands includes SunPower by Milholland Electric, a premier solar, energy storage and roofing company serving San Diego homeowners for over 30 years. 

Brian Milholland, SunPower by Milholland Electric founder, was recently named President of SIRC and leads operations for both SunPower by Milholland Electric and McKay Roofing.

Both SunPower by Milholland Electric and McKay Roofing are long-standing, family-owned Southern California businesses. As part of SIRC, they offer a combined 70 years serving San Diego communities and decades of experience in roofing, electrical and solar energy.
